What is Third Party Insurance?

Third Party Car insurance cover enables you to have insurance cover as required by law. Third party cover does not provide comprehensive cover, and is designed to protect other parties that may incur harm or damage as a result of an accident caused by you, the driver.

What is Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Insurance?

This technically isn't "insurance" — rather, it's a waiver: the car-rental company waives its right to collect the full repair amount from you, in the event the car is damaged. While each company has its own variation of CDW, it generally reduces your full financial responsibilities to an Excess/Deductible, but does not eliminate it. CDW covers everything except the undercarriage, roof, tires, and windshield.

What is Reimbursement Excess Insurance?

If the car is damaged or stolen, the car rental company will charge your credit card the damage repair up to the Excess amount and you then claim for reimbursement on your Policy.
1.Covers the Excess on damage to the rental vehicle
2.Covers the Excess charged in the event of Theft
3.Valid at all car rental locations in Europe, or Worldwide
4.Covers the Policy Holder (the person hiring the car)

What is Personal Accident (PAI) Insurance?

Personal Accident Insurance provides accidental death and medical coverage for the renter and additional passengers during the time they are riding or driving with you. Check your personal travel insurance policy to see if it covers car rentals. If your policy covers car rentals, you may not need PAI. This insurance is usually optional.

What is Personal Effects (PEP) Coverage?

This coverage provides protection against loss or theft of personal belongings from the rental car. Once again, check your own auto insurance policy to determine whether your coverage includes rental cars. Check with the local Car Rental agency if this type of coverage is available

What is Full Damage Cover?

In case you have selected and purchase “FULL Damage Cover - NO Excess” you will fully released for damages caused by the renter and your Credit Card will not be charged.
